85mm lens for tube light-painting? YES!

This is a more or less "advanced" tutorial. If you're at the beginning of your journey with this technique, jump to the Getting Started with tube light-painting page

In a nutshell:

  • The perspective is very different than my usual work simply because of the lens that I used on this one (85mm)

  • Tube: Long + small Roze bronze tubes stacked (olympic kit)

  • Vertical pano (bottom part is a second shot)

  • 8 seconds fixed exposure, iso400, f1.4 - Nitecore MT22c at about 50 lumens

  • The glow is from the city of Rimouski (about 30 minutes away)
